Academic Authority
The DEA Solver is presented and justified by Antonio Clácio Fontelles Thomaz, a researcher and professor with a solid background in efficiency analysis, quantitative methods, and applied mathematical modeling.

Antonio Clécio Fontelles Thomaz
Graduated in Mathematics from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), with a master's degree in Computer Science from PUC-Rio, a doctorate in Systems Engineering and Computing from UFRJ, and a post-doctorate from Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, France. He is a Retired Full Professor at UFC and an Adjunct Professor at the State University of Ceará (UECE), with extensive experience in mathematical modeling, optimization, and mathematical programming, mainly working in linear programming, combinatorial optimization, and industrial optimization. He was the coordinator of the Laboratory for Optimization and Industrial Management (LOGIN) at UECE, where he developed applied industrial optimization projects, integrating academic theory and practical applications.
Where can a DEA be applied?
The DEA methodology can be used to evaluate and compare the efficiency of organizations, production units, and processes in various sectors of the economy and public administration.

Platform Presentation
Get to know DEA Solver from the perspective of someone who has mastered the method.
In this video, Professor Clécio Tomaz presents DEA Solver, explaining what the platform is, how it works, and what types of efficiency analysis it can be applied to. A clear and objective overview, connecting the academic rigor of the DEA method with its practical application in the system.

How does DEA Solver work?
The platform applies the DEA method to the provided data and calculates the relative efficiency of the DMUs.
A simple platform for applying the DEA method and analyzing efficiency based on scientific principles.

Intelligence and organization
DEA Solver works in a simple and straightforward way. You input the input and output variables of the units being analyzed, and the system automatically applies the DEA – Data Envelopment Analysis method to calculate the relative efficiency of each unit. In just a few steps, the platform transforms data into clear results, allowing you to compare performance, identify inefficiencies, and support scientifically based decisions.
Choose the ideal plan for your efficiency analysis.
Plans and Prices
DEA Solver offers flexible plans to meet different usage needs, ranging from occasional analyses to continuous research applications. The platform provides a free trial period, during which users can perform analyses with a limit of up to 30 DMUs, exclusively for system evaluation.

After the trial period and payment confirmation, users gain full access to the platform with no DMU limits, allowing unlimited use of all features by choosing either a monthly or annual plan.
